Our Generous Sponsors

Stop the Suffering rescues and transports dogs and cats from high-kill shelters, located primarily in Ohio and some West Virginia and Kentucky, to pre-approved rescues in five states where they can be evaluated and matched with new families.
We raise funds for critical and routine veterinary care, vaccinations, transportation and food for rescue animals in both foster care and rural shelters.  Learn how we do it

Rescuing by the Numbers

With the support of our donors, community, and volunteers, we were able to transport 3,102 rural pets to rescues, sponsor 271 pets, sponsor 145 pets for vetting, fees, and health certificates, and so much more in 2017. See all our numbers
