About Us

Stop the Suffering (STS) is a Columbus, Ohio based nonprofit To rescue dogs and cats from high kill shelters, primarily in Ohio, and to transport them to safety. We operate a dog adoption program and match dogs to their forever home. We also raise funds for veterinary care, transportation and food for rescued animals. Stop the Suffering provides resources to promote responsible pet ownership.
